👋 Dana Pauly

Dana grew up right outside of Buffalo, NY. She was an avid horseback rider, skier, and school athlete, and competed at horse shows from a young age throughout college. Although she grew up in a very active and healthy household, Dana didn’t fully discover yoga until moving to NYC in 2014. She was experiencing some health issues and anxiety, and decided to drop into a power yoga class at Equinox. She instantly fell in love with the practice because of the physical challenges that it presented along with the aspect of tying breath to movement. What really won her over was how she felt after leaving each class: grounded, calm, and ready to take on anything.

Dana completed her first 200 hour training with Banyan Gallagher in Costa Rica in 2017. Feeling like she only skimmed the surface, she decided to take a second training in San Francisco in Fall of 2018. Dana's classes offer a strong practice with continuous movement, challenging her students with creative sequencing plus great music.
