Frequently Asked Questions

  • Navigate to the schedule and head to sign up for a class like you usually do. Select “Reserve for Guest” and enter the full name and email of your guest. You will continue to pay for your guest’s pass (you can purchase a drop in or use on of your credits on a credit package) and the guest will be registered for the class or event.

  • No, but it is encouraged as many classes sell out. If you do not pre-register, you may walk in to find there is no more space available in the class. Remember, you must always sign in regardless of if you've pre-registered or not!

  • Classes may be canceled up to 2 hours prior to class start time. If you cancel less than 2 hours prior or do not show up for class, your pass will be deducted as if you have attended. Members will be subject to a $12 late fee. If you need to late cancel for an extenuating circumstance, please email us and we will waive or reimburse the fee.

    If you waitlist the class, you could be automatically added up to 1 hours prior to start time after which late cancel policies apply. If your plans change, you may remove yourself from the waitlist before being added to the class online.

    Events (including events, workshops, and retreats) are non-refundable and non-transferable from the time of booking.

    We do not process cancellation requests on behalf of clients - please login to access and modify your schedule.

    Reservations are held until 2 minutes after the start of class. If you are late and the class is full, your spot may be given to a standby student.

    *We reserve the right to amend our cancellation policies and fees at any time.

  • We do not process class cancellations on behalf of our students -- you must cancel in your profile online or on our App. To do so, Login on our website and head to your schedule. You will see an option to cancel by the scheduled class.

  • If you waitlist a class, you could automatically be added into the class up to 1 hour prior to class start time. Be sure to check your email to see if you have been added or are still waitlisted. Once you are added to the class, late cancel policies apply. You should remove yourself from the waitlist if you can no longer attend to avoid being placed into class and late-cancelled.

    Note that if you opted out of emails and texts while registering for the studio, you may not receive waitlist notifications. You can opt into these class updates in your account profile or by contacting us. These notifications are not for marketing purposes.

  • Download the Metta Yoga app for iOS or Android.

    Sign in with your general login credentials, using the same email you use on the website. Click reset password if you forgot your password.

    Select Sausalito-Cloudbreak as your location! You can also add Corte Madera and San Rafael if you’d like to view those class schedules as well.

  • Reset your password HERE. If you cannot remember which email you used to register with us, please email us at hello@cloudbreak-yoga.com with your full name.

  • We do, for $150 per hour (2 hour minimum). If we are not running a class or event on our schedule, the space is likely available for rent. Inquire at hello@cloudbreak-yoga.com.

  • We do, and we love these! We’ve hosted private groups, bachelorette and pre-wedding flows, birthday party classes, and more. Email us for pricing and availability at hello@cloudbreak-yoga.com.

  • Requests for membership termination must be sent to hello@mettayogastudio.com and completing our online membership cancellation form. We do *not* handle these requests at the front desk. Per membership terms, termination requests must be received 7+ days prior to your next bill date.

    When you terminate your membership, you lose your current rate. If you rejoin in the future, you will be subject to the current, possibly higher rate.

  • Requests for membership suspension must be sent to hello@mettayogastudio.com. We do *not* handle these requests at the front desk. Suspension requests must be received 48+ hours prior to your desired suspension start date.

    Memberships can be suspended 3x per contract year (2 week minimum suspension with set end date and max of 6 months cumulative suspension per contract year).

    What if I am requesting a suspension less than 48-hours prior to my preferred start date?

    Your suspension start date will be the soonest day we can get to the request once we've received it. If your request is received within 48 hours, you are subject to your monthly charge processing if it falls within those 48 hours.

    How do suspensions work?

    Your membership bills on the same date every month depending on what day you purchased it on, i.e. memberships do not necessarily bill on the first of each the month or for a specific month of the year. To see which day of the month your membership bills on, check your purchases in your account by logging in on our website. If you request a suspension start date that occurs after your regular billing schedule, your autopay will run before your suspension, and the remainder of days paid for will be available for use when the suspension lifts.

    If you’d like to avoid your next bill date, schedule your suspension to start before it occurs (a suspension start date on the same day as your autorenew will result in the autorenew charge).

  • All purchases for Services (Memberships, Class Packs, Drop-Ins, Events, Retreats, etc) are non-refundable, non-transferable, non-adjustable, and non-applicable to future purchases. Unattended classes or any unused services will not be refunded. Our schedule and offerings are subject to change at any time and are not grounds for a refund.

    Retail items are only returnable unused and undamaged for studio credit within 7 days of purchase.

    No refunds for changes in Covid protocols will be granted with the exception of full studio closure.

  • Parking at CLOUDBREAK is easy! There is a large, free, public, all day parking lot directly across the street at Dunphy's Park. Street parking in front of the studio on Bridgeway and behind the studio on Caledonia Street are both typically available as well. Do not park in the lot directly adjacent to the studio -- this lot is not for us and you may be towed.

  • We are thrilled to be together in person at Cloudbreak. We do offer livestream and virtual classes in Corte Madera and San Rafael. You can view the livestream class schedule here.

  • Yes! We have awesome B-Mats. $3 rental, $84 for sale.

  • No -- just credit and debit cards.

  • We do not have showers at Cloudbreak. We do have 2 brand new showers in San Rafael.

  • We have an extra tidy restroom that you are welcome to change in.

  • We offer warm yoga using radiant infrared heating to 75°F - 85°F. The infrared heat is pretty localized, so those who prefer a cooler temperature can situate around the perimeter of the room which is free of heating panels. (Note that our studio does not offer “hot yoga” which is typically 90°F or Bikram which is set at 105°F. Our studio is much cooler.) See our About page for more information under “The Space”.
