👋 Hy Long Michael Nguyen

The practice first landed with me in a rural desert town, located in the Antelope Valley of California. It was in a tiny room, 3-4 students, and a kind teacher who expressed a level of care so intimate that it left a footprint in my heart. As I laid in stillness for my first savasana, a tear fell down my eye. I knew a quiet awakening was beginning. One that would pivot the course of my life.

Heartfelt. That would summarize my class.

I believe in energetic presence and the power of movement to activate and settle energy. How we are able to channel that energy through our bodies, our breath and into our lives makes me excited about Yoga. It makes me so excited to teach Yoga.

Expect a strong class. I will get into your muscles. I want you to feel your body. I will want you to find your breath. And through this journey, my hope is that you discover the essential nature of who you are and live the promise of your greatest potential. We’ll do this all together.

It's an incredible gift to teach this practice. I can’t wait to meet you.

I am an RYT-500 with nearly 1000 hours of study and an Assistant RYT-200 Teacher Trainer. I want to thank my teachers who have imprinted their teachings on me - Joan Hyman, Carmen Fitzgibbon, Michele Klink, Lesley Desaulniers, Mynx Inatsugu, John Berlinsky and Jai Uttal.
